Metamorphosen / Ton-Werke

...die Plastiken werden in Ton (ohne Schamotte) erstellt. Daher ist der Ton sehr fein und lässt sich auch wunderbar aufmalen. Die Plastik wird nicht im Ofen gebrannt, sondern luftgetrocknet, das atmen, sich bewegen können - das Leben der Figur soll bestehen bleiben. Es werden Farben, Nägel, Holz, Steine, Metall, Glas ... bei der Bearbeitung benutzt und integriert. Die Plastik wird am Ende mit einem Kunstharz Klarlack überzogen oder mit Bienenwachs geschützt oder pur belassen. Durch Lebens- / Witterungseinflüsse wird die Plastik nach und nach wieder in ihre ursprünglichen Einzelteile zerfallen, je nach Einflussnahme....der Prozess; "zum Leben erwacht, zum Sterben gemacht" ; ist bewusst künstlerisch gewollt. ...

...the sculptures are created in clay (without fireclay). Therefore the clay is very fine and can be painted on wonderfully. The sculpture is not fired in the oven, but rather air-dried, so that it can breathe and move - the life of the figure should remain. Paints, nails, wood, stones, metal, glass... are used and integrated during processing. At the end, the plastic is covered with a synthetic resin clear varnish or protected with beeswax or left pure. Due to the influences of life/weather, the plastic will gradually break down into its original individual parts, depending on the influence... the process; “made to live, made to die”; is intentionally artistic. ...

Beton-Werke

Die Beton-Werke werden aufgebaut über eine innere Metall-Konstruktion und dann mit Pappmache überzogen. Danach folgt ein grober Grund-Mörtel um die Konturen anzulegen und im letzen Schritt wird ein, in der Körnung feinerer, Mörtel zum modellieren Aufgetragen. 

The concrete works are built over an inner metal construction and then covered with paper mache. This is followed by a coarse base mortar to create the contours and in the last step a finer grained mortar is applied for modeling.

Misch-Werke

...in den Mischwerken werden 4 Elementen von Material und Techniken vereint: Holz, Ton, Mörtel, Mosaik. Ich verbinde alle Bereiche (Ton-Werke,, Mosaik-Form-Struktur-Werke, Beton-Werke) zu einer Plastik.

...the mixed works combine four material elements and techniques: wood, clay, mortar, mosaic. I combine all areas (clay work, mosaic form-structure work, concrete work) into one sculpture.

Mosaik-Form-Struktur-Werke

....in den Mosaik-Form-Struktur-Werken setze ich mich mit dem Thema "Ästhetik" auseinander....dem schmalen Grad zwischen Schönheit und Hässlichkeit, Kunst und Kitsch, Farbharmonie und Disharmonie, Struktur und Chaos, Vergangenheit und Neuzeit...ist Mosaik eine veraltete Kunstform oder eine Form der Darstellung die auch in der heutigen Zeit ihre Berechtigung hat und behalten sollte? Eine Kunstform die belebt...den Ästhetik-Wahn der heutigen Zeit aufbricht!?...und ist unsere heutige vorrangige Ästhetik wirklich ehrlich ästhetisch?

....in the mosaic form-structure works I deal with the theme of "aesthetics"....the fine line between beauty and ugliness, art and kitsch, color harmony and disharmony, structure and chaos, past and modern times ...is mosaic an outdated art form or a form of representation that still has its place today and should remain so? An art form that enlivens...breaks down the aesthetic craze of today!?...and is our current primary aesthetic really honestly aesthetic?
